I had finished my homework early today, so I decided to take a quick trip to library. I was randomly browsing through an apothecary book when I saw an article that I think might interest a few.

Chocolate: A Powerful Healing Regimen
The Mayan Indians of Central America recognized the power of chocolate more than 3000 years ago. They liked the taste, but they also believed chocolate had healing properties. They used it as medicine, for fertility and spiritual guidance...

...Back in the 1500s, chocolate was often attributed with medicinal properties. Brought to Europe from the New World, it was used to help emaciated patients gain weight, stimulate the nervous system and improve digestion."

Chocolate for Good Sexual Health
Other exciting news about chocolate comes from Italy, where apothecarists noted recently that women who love chocolate are more likely to enjoy sex. These scientists questioned 163 women about their chocolate consumption and their love lives. The more chocolate a woman ate, the more likely she was to have a satisfying sex life. It’s not clear if this is a cause-and-effect relationship, but the researchers concluded that, “Chocolate can have a positive physiological impact on a woman’s sexuality.”

~ Well isn't that interesting? I suppose boredom can lead to good discoveries, too. Pretty soon, I believe chocolate will be the solution for everything!
And by the way, I have chocolate, if anyone needs any healing.

I'm glad to be back at Hogwarts! The Welcoming Feast last night had been most charming and extravagant, as always and I must say it was refreshing to see a few familiar faces around the Gryffindor table. I can't wait until Monday, for classes to start. I'm taking a few extra courses so I'm very thrilled about those.

How was everyone's summer then?

And congratulations on being Head Boy, James! Couldn't think of anyone more deserving of the title.

The full moon isn't until the 27th, just wanted you to know. I'm still pretty sore from the 28th. Mum locked me up in the shed as usual, which was entirely not fun.

By the way, would anyone want chocolate? I have a whole hidden compartment in my trunk full of them. Mum obviously went all out this year with my supply.
